Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) & Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS)

What Is DAS & ERRCS?

  • DAS (Distributed Antenna System) is an in-building network of antennas and signal boosters that improve cellular and radio coverage throughout large or challenging structures.

  • ERRCS is a specialized type of DAS that enhances public safety radio signals—ensuring first responders can communicate clearly during emergencies.

Why You Need ERRCS in Your Building

Most jurisdictions now require ERRCS systems in new and existing commercial buildings if public safety radio signals cannot penetrate all areas of the structure. Code compliance is driven by national standards such as:

  • NFPA 72 & IFC 510, which mandate minimum signal strength for emergency communications

  • Local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) inspections that test radio coverage before issuing a Certificate of Occupancy

If your building has concrete walls, low-E glass, underground levels, or spans a large footprint, chances are you’ll fail signal testing without ERRCS.

Cellular Signal Boosting

If your building struggles with dropped calls, slow data speeds, or dead zones—especially in areas like underground garages, stairwells, or interior offices—our cellular DAS systems can:

  • Extend 4G/LTE and 5G signals from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and other carriers

  • Eliminate indoor coverage issues caused by concrete, metal framing, or low-emissivity glass

  • Improve staff productivity and customer experience by ensuring seamless mobile connectivity throughout your property

We offer both passive DAS (signal boosters and antennas) and active DAS (carrier-coordinated signal distribution) depending on your building size, occupancy, and performance requirements.

2

Private Radio Communications (DMR, MOTOTRBO, etc.)

For operations that depend on two-way radios, such as warehouses, hospitality, transportation, or manufacturing, we deploy DAS solutions tailored to:

  • Digital Mobile Radio (DMR)

  • MOTOTRBO by Motorola Solutions

  • Other licensed and unlicensed business-band radios

Our systems ensure your radios maintain clear, uninterrupted coverage from loading dock to control room, across multiple floors or large campuses. Whether you’re running voice-only or data-enabled radios, we can integrate with your existing infrastructure or assist in deploying a new private radio network from the ground up.
